I like the bars, too. I bought my Bob used and it came to me with bars just like that. I didn't realize I was supposed to have apes until after I'd bought the bike....

Thanks guys.
HDDyna, I am in Round Rock.
Joe, I used your info for drilling the bars for the interanal wiring ( that and Mud write up on all those connectors...)
The Fork boots are from Ebay, Steadfast Motors I think, but they are already starting to crack, less than 4 month in. I might have to find a replacement soon. I guess you get what you pay for....

Nice ride. Those bars give it a unique look.

+1 on the AC cover....whats the skinny on that bad boy. I thought the S&S covers didnt work on our scoots.

I had a S&S carb on my old '75 XLH, and always loved the look. After looking for a while I got lucky and was able to get a used air intake from Muddyape here on the forum. This version has been discontinued but S&S still list an intake kit w/ chrome cover that fit a big twin with FI. It is available through J&P and Phat I think, but it is pretty pricey ( lot more than a Ness or SE). Mine fitted perfectly; they mention on the catalog a notch for the tank but I don't think it applies to Dynas.
