New Seat
#12
It's my 1993 CBR900RR. Kind of a torture rack for me to ride for long periods of time as I get older, but still good for a quick blast through the twisties any day!!
Here are a few pics (remember when sportbikes had round headlights? Ha ha)

Thanks. I just brought it to a local place that does metal coating and finishing and had it done in wrinkle black (same as on the stock coating on the center console on the FXDB). Looks better than paint and lasts alot longer, sort of like a plastic textured coating in appearance.. Cost like $25 or $30 to get done. I am in NY and used Action Powdercoating..

40 years in the making....
I finally did it....I bought my first Harley Davidson...a beautiful '09 Street Bob. I've wanted one since I saw my first one when I was 9 years old. She's in storage 'till the snow goes, then look out.. . First thing I bought was for my very supportive wife...pegs, back rest and a seat. I chose the stock, '09, lowrider seat also. Was this seat a bolt on addition to your bike or were there any mods that were needed?

No mods, bolts right on so long as it is an '06 or newer Low Rider seat. You will just need to install the Seat Mount Nut Kit to the rear hole in the fender. (the street bob has a black cap in the hole stock).
I think this is it:
FENDER/SEAT NUT KIT
Product ID: 59768-97
Well under $5 I believe
