This deserves a new thread.
Should I evacuate the garage????
Is this thing going to explode??
Are you sure you have the voltmeter set to DC VOLTS? That reading is impossible.

Tide, check to make sure the starter mounting bolts are nice and tight. there are 2 that mount the starter to the primary. One of them has the neg. battery cable ground to it.

Well glad that over voltage isn't the issue, now check the batt cable connections to the starter make sure they are nice and clean.

Bro - you might be having issues with your starter solenoid. That is what engages the gear to the after primary drive gear (and turns over the engine).

I have an '05 too and just replaced my battery yesterday. I had 15,880 miles, but it was the original battery (so almost 5 years old). I guess its more an issue of how old the battery is vice how much mileage.

Sounds like the charging system is working okay.

You might want to check the connections on the relays and fuses in your fuse box. Sometimes they get some light corrosion. I pull mine out and clean the contacts with steel wool one at a time and coat with some dielectric grease and re-install. BTW, when you mess with the battery you should pull your maxi-fuse so you don't short anything out.

BTW, if you want to get a stock battery look up East Penn Deka manufacturing on google. They make all the MoCo batteries and their distributors usually charge less $$ for a replacment than a dealer does. I just got a new one for $79.

Tide,
You don't say how old the battery is.
If it more than 3 years old, chances are it gave up the ghost.
Check the cheapest and the obvious first.
The regulator and battery may be putting out 13 volts, but if the amperage isn't there the the starter will never turn over.
Autozone, Pep boys, or any other of the big name auto parts stores will load test your battery for free.
Testing it under load is the only way to measure the Cold Cranking Amperage.
