I did the Michelin Macadam 50 160/70-17 rear and Commander MH90-21 up front. So far, I like them better than the stock Dunlops.

Yep, the SE tire was designed for the 4.5" Dyna rim.


I'm thinking I'm going with a Avon Storm 170/60/17.

The SE 180 looks great! But very expensive now, unfortunately. Harley keeps jacking up the price on that tire, so I refuse to buy it anymore. Not all 180's will fit though.. that SE180 was designed to specifically fit our 4.5" rims.

Nah...watch ebay...I bought mine from someone here for 150 shipped. I missed one on ebay that went for 160 I think. Other people on here have bought the Metzler (or another brand) that is a 180/55B17, it's just a sidewall height difference. Do some poking around on here. Nows the perfect time to do a nice upgrade. Here's a shot of mine just installed.
