Question Speedo needle bouncing?

Anyone know what would cause the speedo needle to bounce around while riding....

Ex: Im going 70 itll jump down to 60 up to 68 back down to 65 and then back to 70...

I dont know why it started to do this but its starting to bother me...

My '06 dyna doesn't do it but my '07 dyna does. It bounces down about 2-3 MPH and back up. What can cause this??? my '07 has another month of warranty should i take it in?

I only notice this (and not that drastic of bouncing) when I'm on the gas hard at too low of an RPM.

Have you checked the speedo sensor on top of the transmission, sometimes some crud gets on the sensor in the case, pull it off, clean it, reinstall it. Then check the connection from the speedo sensor under the seat, check your S/Manual. One more inspection, check all your battery connections.

I had similar issues and it was my bsttery connections. They were loose. Tighten them up and haven't had that problem again.

I had the same issue on my BUELL M2. The speedo sensor needed to be replaced.
