Default Tank lift and fuel levels?

I just put my tank lift on and wanted to know how bad it threw off the fuel gauge of those with the lift too. I haven't had my bike long so I really don't know how many miles I will get to a tank so I don't run out of gas or fill up way too early.

Gotta agree. I just bought my SB a couple weeks ago. My gauge says almost empty, but can only put in about 2 gallons. Can't wait till I get my tank lift on.

So how many miles do you think I would get to a tank? The only performance upgrade I have right now is rush slip ons so I'd say I'd be pretty close to stock mileage.

Around 200 to empty. My light comes on at 80 miles with the tank lift, I go about 150 before I fill up.

I was just thinking that today...I couldn't remember when I filled up last (I know I need to ride more, I've been doing yard work), because the gauge was down to 1/4. I checked the trip meter and it was at 50 miles!! That tank lift screws it all up, but well worth the look.

With a 2" lift my light comes on between 130-135 miles ..... I fuel up somewhere between that and 150.

I start looking for fuel at 150. My gauge didn't change much after the lift, it is as ****ed as ever. From new my light is on at 90 miles, same with the lift.
