With a 3", when my fuel light comes on, I learned that I have at least another 40 miles to go before I really get into trouble. That took a few tanks to figure out.

I just installed the 2in myself. I noted where the fuel guage was before and then checked it after just to see if there was any difference. I noticed about an 1/8th of a tank difference. Hope this helps some.

I installed a 2" lift last summer and have checked my fuel gauge several times and it seems to work fine. My light comes on at around 150 miles which is about as far as I want to ride without a stop anyway. Maybe I'm one of the lucky ones, my fuel guage has always worked really well; then again, everything about my '06 FXD has been great.

It threw mine off a fair amount but I don't pay any attention to the guage. I go by miles.
