Good thought. I had an 02 springer that I sold with 27k running good and the new owner never looked at tension shoes yet. 57K on it now.. I said you might look at the shoes, but he is selling it so ? Anyway I got the 03 Dyna on my avatar at 7k and decided at 11,800 to upgrade. The existing parts were still in good shape but I was able to get an S&S 509G complete upgrade from my tech friend. My crank runout was only .0025 so good install.. I have heard nightmares about camshoe failure. I look forward to hearing your progress ! Happy New Year
