Not an FXE. The FXR came along in 82.
The FXR is without a doubt the best handling frame HD ever had. I'm dying to get my hands on another one....and build a twin cam FXR.
Who wants to buy my Dyna??!!

Ok i got pics up on picasa. Be mindful that the bike is in a one car garage with three other Harleys so it was kinda tight in there. But you get the picture.

Looked at the pics. That's an FXR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not a dyna, dude. Dynas weren't introduced until '91.
Man, you just picked up a bike that a lot of us would kill for at a sweet price. Send me a PM and I'll send ya some pics of some SICK FXR's!!!

OK I need to change my to do list. I would replace the gauges with a digital set up. Don't know why but I like the bars clean and un-cluttered. It is a great bike for the price though, I would have snagged it in a heart beat.

Get emmersed in the Harley world before doing anything radical, my initial advice still stands. Great bike, clean it up well change the tires and ride safe! Do your homework on the FXR line (check the FXR forum) people there are passionate about their FXR's..you'll learn a ton from them.
