Have the Progressive 440s fitted on my FXDC,think they are an amazing shock for my model, then again the roads are different here in the UK,but these 440s can def handle the twisties here.

Progressive 440 Series, the ultimate Progressive shock with IAS - Inertia Active System. Clever enough to separate wheel movement from chassis movement so that your bike floats over the rough stuff, yet doesn't wallow in the twists and turns. Comes with hand-adjustable preload as standard, in a range of sizes and spring weights.

Special Ed - truth be known, i guess im not totally dis-satisifed with my hd412s (how much you weigh? Im 245 if I dont eat breakfst :')) and im runnign them on setting 3 - middle setting- but when I hit a good bump it sends me outta the saddle - addmittedly, this is coupled with a fricken ROCK of a front end that needs to be fixed.

Ive just been reading alot lately about true suspension - and how much it can help push harder - plus at the 11 inch height, i drag mid control peg around every corner!
They bolted right on my 05, but the seller I bought mine from included the upper mounting bolts because they were shorter than the upper bolts that were on my bike stock. With those bolts, I had 'em on in 30 mins.

I'm probably around 220 fully geared up and run my 412s somewhere around the middle position.I also have thier standard length progressive springs up front with 15 wt oil. I have noticed 2 things about the 11" 412s, 1, if you have the preload set too low they bottom out quickly and it rides like a rigid, and 2 they soften up over time and ride better than when new.In retrospect i wish I would have kept my 12 3/4" Electroglide shocks.
