Brownie, I’m seriously considering switching to these Bitubo’s. The Hagons that I have on right now ride terrible when I have any weight in my saddlebags at all.

My question is did you end up going with the “standard” or “heavy duty”?

brownie, good question from HD_Matt about standard or heavy duty. I weigh 185 and don't ride 2-up but saddlebags always full when I go for long weekend rides plus full T-bag luggage with enough clothes for 3 or 4 days in case I go swimming on 2 wheels. Also have about 10 pounds of tools.

If the standard shock is truly able to handle 500 pounds then I think I'm ok but I don't have the real-world experience on the shocks that you have.

I have the standard springs. I wanna say the HD ones are sprung for like 800lbs plus gear.
