Default Bike Security/Anti-Theft.

So I am stuck with out a garage for the next few months. After seeing the other thread about the SB getting stolen, I started to get paranoid. My question is what is the best way to secure the bike while out side?

I've been thinking about chaining it to the phone pole next to my drive way...

Chaining it to an immovable object is good. Make sure it is a good chain and lock. You can also get some ground anchors that you can use and then chain it to that. My Wide Glide will be outside for the next three years. No place to secure it so I just make sure my insurance is paid up.

They have the secruity system with siren and pager that goes up to 1/2 mile for about $150.00. Might be worth it to have to divert them and notify you when it goes off.

Fix a sensor activated bomb to it so if some turd/scumbag tries stealing it at least you have the satisfaction of hearing him try *BOOOOOOOM!!*..Yea I know the bike suffers too but it would be worth it to me!..in the real world I would chain it through the frame to a ground anchorage point..Bike has a Harley alarm does'nt it?
