Buck, good question.

all I know is these components valve the fluid in the front forks
in a controlled and calculated manner.

not sure if *cartridge emulator* is the correct terminology.

I do know that the improvement is noticeable.

not sure JRK. I just closed my eyes and made up a 16 digit number.
seemed to work.

I agree with your assessment of the stock stuff. Lord it's horrible!
stock springs at this time, may be more tuning with spring work. not sure.
stock equipment works real fine.

~Joe, as far as looks go,
you can always do a search for some of my old images.
that's why I snap a lot of photos. remember the old daze.

And, now that you mention it,
I do have a set of WideGlide 1 1/4" apes
and, a set of 1" StreetBob apes FOR SALE

Strip time is in my blood now, so I'm tucked...
now I need to come up with more 16 digit numbers........

How hard are these to install and how much time does it take? What size forks do Fat Bobs have. I am really interested in buying some of these.

im planning to do a progressive lowering spring kit - wonder if these will still work - any thoughts - I would assume they will, but if anyone has the info please post

Ive been running extra heavy duty oil (no other change) and the forks are a fricken brick, so I want to go back to a lighter oil, but would prefer a stiffer spring and/or added fluid dampening, like I understand these intiminators do
