Default Engine Guard

Hey Final got myself engine guard from the H-D dealer for my 07 FXD . Because I have been doing some reading about guys WITH the Guard and WITH OUT . I do ride it hard specially into turns there is nothing better then going into a turn HOT and getting through it what a rush . Is this a good thing or should I say F it and do with out it . Need some input guys .

Put it on ans see if you like it. It's only a 5 minute job. I like mine! The crash bar and the windshield debate are gonna both be about 50/50 and never end.

Plus with the engine guard you can get the highway pegs on there now. Nice to be able to stretch out once in a while on those long rides.

You get used to the engine guard in about a week. I have one because I have kids that play in the garage and if they ever knock my bike over it would crush them. AND then if they survived I would have to beat their little azzes...

If you had seen a guy go down and a slide his bike across a parking lot while turning off the highway and only thing scratched was the side of his engine guard and a little on the rear turn signal. I got one and you get used to it. Great place to put Highway pegs and hang a tool bag.

I have linby bars and they will save your tank and others from dents and there are two places to put feet and stretch out
