Bluetooth gps advice
I have a TOM TOM RIDER 2ND EDITION, the headset that came with it (scala rider) is a POS. It has an earpiece that u Velcro into your helmet. Good up to about 40 mph. I just bought a Motorola MOTOROKR S9-HD HEADSET. It works great with the TOM TOM and I also bought a Bluetooth converter for my ipod (Sony tmr-bt81p) Motorola makes one also that u can buy with the headset as a kit. This setup works great with the gps and the ipod. The headset has an ear bud piece which works great for blocking out the wind. I could hear the IPOD crystal clear at 80mph on the Garden State Pkwy today. Only problem I have to work out is that when the gps gives commands if you’re using both at the same time, it pauses the song on the ipod and u have to restart it. Not a big problem but something to consider, usually will only be using one or the other.

I still occasionally fight with pairing, but I've been using a Jabra BT3030 with a set of Shure E2C earphones. The BT3030 is designed to allow it to pair with a stereo and mono source at the same time. It interrupts music (from an ipod shuffle plugged into a Jabra A120s) for navigation prompts (from my Zumo). I don't always catch the entire prompt, but it gives me enough to know what I'm looking for.
