Wally,
Did you already installed your BCTs. What do you think of them?
I installed them. They sound great!! But I took them back out after a short test drive. I was running way lean, with a whole lot of popping on decel. I've got to get some kind of tuning device to richen it up. Still weighing my options between the PCIII, dfo, race fueler, etc.

But they sounded damn good. Deep and the right amount loud with a nice snap, just like I want. I'll get them back in soon.

WW,
Do you have the Stage 1 and download? I did before the BCT baffles were installed, no popping at all, but I did hear that a SERT or PCIII is a better route than download with this type of setup (BCT).

Yep, I've got the download. I had the se/ac, but put the stock ac back on, cuz when I originally put the seII mufflers, even that was too lean. The bike runs whip azz with the stock ac, download, and the seIIs.

But sometimes I wonder if the download was even installed. Me and a couple others posted quite a bit about this a couple months ago. It's all a little confusing.

ps - gotta go to bed. I'll check in tomorrow!

Not to rape the thread, but..........

If I've got the Stage 1 download, stock a/c, and SEII slip-ons.....then put the BCT baffles in....will it cause me to run leaner than I already do? I thought the company that makes the baffles have said that it wouldn't cause that problem?

Edit to add: It's an 06 SuperGlide!

The new type se2s are the baffled up options , its the old 95-05 se2's you need just a bar across . But any dealer should know that.

I'm not an expert, but it made mine run leaner. If you eyeball down through the baffles, the BCT is definitely more "open" than the SEII baffle. You can see more daylight through the BCT baffle, so I'd say it is less restrictive.

I have the same set up and my bike runs well, alot better than when I first installed the SEIIs and Stage 1 (before download). Had download done after 2 1/2 miles. BCT said that it should run fine, I guess that means provided you have the right DOWNLOAD (maybe?).

that's Harley's "touring" model dyna seat. It is great. My wife loves it for 2-up riding.
