Default 06 fxdwgi post recall drama

any of you "dyna"miter's get that recall accomplished on your '06 yet. i did and it was going good until lube started leaking out of the shifter(where it goes into the tranny) any thoughts just for GP's?sounds like a gasket or seal.i wonder if it is related to to work on the recall or if it is a new issue. its going back to HD tomorrow

do you mean on the back side of the primary, where the shift shaft extends upward?

That area shouldn't have been effected by the recall.

I believe they accessed the tranny phrom the other side of the bike, removing the cover with "six speed" on it.

Yep, I've had mine done. I thought they created an oil leak as there were a few drops, but it was just some excess dripping off. No other issues at this point.

I noticed neutral is a lot easier to get now and has a much more positive click into it. Before it was pretty hard to get sometimes.

Mine was done at the factory before being shipped to the dealer. No leaks. Take it back.....they did it. There are no coincidences regarding oil leaks ever.
