Default LED turn lamps - load equalizer required ?

I'm swapping out the factory rear turn lamps for LED.

I know that without either a solid state or resistive load equalizer, the turn lamp will start off flashing at the regular rate - but will then increase in frequency.

Is this harmful in any way to the TSSM (turn signal security module) ?

I don't mind the high rate of flash and don't want to put the effort into adding the loads. However - don't want to do any damage to the TSSM.

Hope this helps...
I dont know if it will harm anything, i can just tell you what happend when i changed to leds....
I changed the tailight and the rear blinkers...the blinkers started off just blinking fast...i was told they were blinking fast because it is harleys warning system for telling you have a bulb out...leds take less power and this makes the bikes cpu think a bulb is out...they went from blinking fast to just staying on solid...also, the security light was on and i dont have the security sytem on my bike...i called the led company and told them the prob...they said i need an equalizer...i got it and crammed it under the seat and since then no problems...i even put leds in the front, still no issues
hope this helps
cheers
J

Beerbelly is right, you need a load equalizer. Most are easy, just plug and play.
