Default more PC5 questions battery removal?

got my PC5 installed, not real happy with how crammed the harness is between battery and fuse box. I'm thinking of removing the battery and batt. box,to get a better look to clean this up a little. once I remove battery, what else besides the 2 torx bolts on top of frame need removed to get out the plastic box? Am I safe to assume disconnecting the batt. wont harm my PC map now that is installed?
THANKS

Not sure on getting the battery out but no it wont remove your PC map by taking it out.

I am going to suggest that you remove the battery AND battery box. Once you do that you will have access to all the wiring under the seat and you'll be able to better deal with your install. Its a piece of cake to remove and you'll see that you have plenty of room in there.

There is one more allen head bolt in the center of the battery box you have to remove. I pulled all the wiring harness off their plascic connector clips to clean up a little. They now sit side by side between the battery and fuse box. There is a lot of space infront of the rear fender part of the frame under the seat. I fit my turn/brake module, PC5, and my tail light circuit board under my seat with little problem. Just take your time.

I was able to fit my PC5 under the seat on my Fat Bob. It worked out really well.
