Yeah, I would find out if the dealer service dept is open on Saturday. If so, take it then and sit while they do it. Should not have to cost you a dime and no work time.

If it's the shift shaft seal going into the transmission case, I do believe the inner primary case has to come off. That means the clutch pack also comes out. If you have a service manual that would be helpful. I'd let the dealer fool with it on their dime. Take it on a Saturday and arrange a pickup on a Sat. You could get a quote from an indy and weigh in the miss work, miss bike, warranty pays for it, and how soon you want to ride factors. Good luck.

Hey I appreciate the comments and advice. I called the dealer they got me in at 11:00 next Saturday. I realize now it is gonna be a gasket, the seal , fluid and I guess it is silly to not use the warranty in case it goes deeper than just the seal.
