Wear a classic novelty helmet. When I go to Sturgis helmet comes off once I leave the People's Republik of Maryland. I do take a 3/4 with a face shield along for those South Dakota hail storms.

Lets see, I have a Vega 1/2 helmet that I like to wear when just tooling around town.

Then I have a HD 3/4 helmet that I've worn maybe twice.

On those cold day's a HD full face which I like.

But I just picked up one of the Scorpion EXO-100's this weekend and I'm really starting to like this helmet. Love the retractable shield, it's come in pretty handy the past couple of mornings on the way to work going through some drizzle. Bought it mainly for a trip coming up in a few months but this helmet is starting to become my favorite right now.

 

When I wear one it's a full face.

i would like to pick up a full face but I can't find a comfortable one due to my enormous skull...

 

Just picked up the ACC DOT helmet and that thing still sits on the top of my head, feels very tight and if the chin strap isn't uncomfortably tight the helmet just falls back on my head with a slight push...I am thinking about sending it back...

 

I prefer a half helmet, but am going to get two 3/4's so when my wife goes with me we can use the intercom system and I don't have to keep yelling "what"?

 

I normally wear a novelty one, I have a Fulmer 1/2 dot and an full face Arai RX-7 also. Lately I've been thinking I should at least wear the 1/2 and probably should wear the full. Realizing I'm not bulletproof anymore...
