I like the 14's but you should get what you like I first got 12's then bought 14's.

Hey, what's the "fun" in getting the right one the first time? My girlfriend has started asking me how many times I have changed a part every time I get a new part.

Seriously, I would go ahead and ride with the 14's for a while before you change em out. I have 12" apes and am very happy with them, keep my hands right at shoulder height which is most comfortable for me. I am thinking about trying slightly higher risers, but then I just like experimenting.

HOT DAMN...that is SWEET. I had 14's on mine before I went to the Carlini Lowdowns and they were perfect. 16's are definately cool but I think those are in perfect proportion to the bike. AWESOME

I like the 14's but if you got your heart set on 16's you might as well go ahead and do it now.

Those bars really do look like the perfect size for the bike.

I agree with everything said, you take in your size and all else and go with what feels good. When I first put 10" apes on mine I didn't think they were tall enough, but after I put on the Le pera bare bones seat, which sits lower-Bingo!

here's a few more pics to show the difference in size a little better. i think i'm going to stick with these.

also, my "garage"is the downstairs kitchen in our in-law apartment that attaches to my "man cave". i'm using the apartment to house my bike. i just had the whole thing remodeled.
