I owe 10K on my 06 Superglide. I was thinking of selling for 10k plus an old Sportster Evo. The problem here is money. Do you guys think I could accomplish this? I had a Sporty paid for and wish I would have just kept it. Sick of the payments.

 

Is someone willing to pay you 10k plus a evo sportster for it? If so that's a good price on an 06 superglide. 07's sell around 10k now.

 

10k for an evo sporty seems a bit high to me man! hell you can get one of the newer ones for around that

 

If you're talking about selling it for 10K and buying a sportster cash that's definitely doable but 10K plus an evo Sporty is a stretch.I couldn't sell my 06 Bob in 06 for 13K.I should add I live in CA. and asking prices for Harley's are just plain ridicules.I see 05s and 06s priced around 13-15K all the time but they're not selling,I see the same bikes in the paper week after week.Sorry this is just a bad time of year in a bad economy to be trying to sell a Harley. Now, if you know somebody with a nice sporty that wants to make the trade and take over payments that might be an option.

 

That's a tough call. You would be lucky to get $10k & another bike. I would tough it out and pay off the SG. Maybe pick up a part time job to pay it off.

 

I agree with others if you are talking 10k + a sporty. I honestly think you would be lucky to get 10k for a 06 SG. Times are tuff and you can buy a 09 for 12k.

 

I bought my 08 for 8500 so you are better off just paying for it.
