MARKETING! MARKETING! MARKETING! OCC became a brand name of DISCOVERY. With that I bet there was lot's of CRAP those guys had to contend with for the MARKET, which was not for the Biker's, but the nerds that watch the Discovery Channel. Once you become a brand, personal identity is lost. All the crap they push is similar to all the crap pushed at you when you visit Disney World.

Nothing wrong with that, the wife saves us $200-$300 a month using them. I'm proud, but a buck is a buck.

Personally I enjoy the show, more to watch the cast go at each other more than the bikes. But I would have to say they are pretty good at what the do. But putting slip ons on my last sporty is testing the limits of my mechanical ability, so anyone that can build what they build amazes me. For the record I own no OCC apparal or gear. I own very little HD gear, do enjoy my HD boots, had em for 6 years and they still goin strong. Gotta few HD tshirts, most were gifts. But I wear a leatherup.com classic bikers jacket. I think so much of it that the first thing I did was cut the belt off the waist. What can I say its a heavy jacket and it was cheap, sure didn't want it scratching my tank.

No man, no offense, I just thought it was kinda funny.... with your statement of "I think"...., and then I looked up and saw the wording in your avatar....

...and I do wear a Harley jacket and boots when I ride, both quality items and better than what I had.

Yep lot's of OCC crap available.

I do find the show amusing, would rather watch that than most of the mindless crap on the regular networks.
