Yea but I can trust my but on a Harley you would not catch me riding one for very long.

 

I have friends that have thousands in harley clothes and what not...I wont buy the stuff..I paid like 14k for a bike...they should pay me to advertise!

 

its a nice place to take a ride to and look at bikes. I couldnt even buy a coffee mug,they came in a set of 3 for $40.00 ..

 

well I guess I could start off by isn't that super. But you have to give it to their marketing and distribution people, they really know how to sell to the arm chair bike fans.

 

Bottom line is the almighty buck..AKA PROFIT!!!...I dont care if its OCC or Pampers...make a profit or die...that said,if either depended on me,they would have closed their doors long ago..(youngest child is 20) .if you dont like it,dont buy it ..:>)

 

Do you use a lot of coupons, too?

 

dont have a problem with occ at all. been to the old shop, good time. Like the show too.

 

The OCC boys have made alot of people happy. Sure they made some cash along the way, but isn't that what we motivates most people.

heres what i dont get.

last summer a friend and myself rode out to the new store they buit in new york. there was a small amount of bikes in the parking lot, and tons and tons of cars. it was sort of like a disney land experience. it was cool to see all their theme bikes on the floor, but here is what i thought was messed up. they had the 'old school' bike that paul sr and cody made, then at the end of the show, in this big tear jerking scene, paul gave the bike to cody. that bike was on the floor too.

this was after cody had already left the show, but if that bike was a gift to him, why was it on the floor of their store???

as a side note, we left there without buying anything either, but there were lots of people taking pictures & buying shirts and junk like that.

 

It's not a jealousy thing. It a "perfect chance to laugh at bafoonery"...mainly on the part of the salesman, not Paul Sr. In all honesty, I feel for ANY business in this economy, and I have to wonder if OCC is trying to "liquidate".
