Default Standard seat mod

Hey all,
took cover off, cut large pieces off with hacksaw blade then shaved back with flapper disc on 5" angle grinder then recovered.
I am very happy with the result. Still pretty good to ride aswell although this will just be for short trips and around town.

Looks good....I think I would have left more on the front of the seat to hide where it meets the tank. The work you did is excellent though. The pics are excellent as well...very high quality photos. Good job.

yeah i knew some would say that but thats the look i was after low as possible at the front and i dont mind seeing the tank bolt, i like how you see them on some of the old bikes and i just hate how on the new bikes the seat goes up over the tank, i dont think it should go above the tank just doesnt look right to me.
but thats just me !

yeah ..it has a sort of " Industrial " look to it , and as others have stated, its a nice , clean , symmetrical look . nice job

Thats the same way I made my seat. I just didn't get quite as wild with the saw.
