Question - would the 110 heads fit the 96 jugs? I was thinking the engine cases had to be bored to accept the 110 jugs (and therefore the 110 heads may not work with 96) ... may be off base on that ... or thinking of another aftermarket build vice 110 ...?

Something to check first if you've got a real prospect of getting the 110 heads.

I think if I'm going to mess with the heads, I'll have my OE heads worked. Probably more cost-effective route.

What used to be a 1550cc kit will make your motor a 103ci mill.

The difference between a stock 110 w/255 cams and a 103 w/203 or 204 cams is night and day. What that extra 7 cubes costs is insane. Case boring , etc.. 211 cams in a Dyna or FX Softail is a huge improvement over the CVO set-up.

Does that include the case-boring jig? I maintain that the last 7 cubes doesn't justify the cost of boring the cases. If you just have to bore the cases , go for an Arias 107 cid piston kit. If you go that route , see Jon Miller at Thiel's Wheels. The last dyno file I saw on his drag bike was 359 horsepower.

You'd have to check with the guy selling it. It's probably sold by now, it was/is in the classified section of this forum.
