According to literature on the denim black, it is supposed to fade over time.

I have heard the same thing from my dealer. The paint is designed to fade.

Any pictures of what we can expect? I am really curious to see how mine will turn out.

The Bob just came out in August/September, so unless you have it sitting out in the Arizona sun 7 days a week I don't think anyone has had enough time for the paint to start to fade the way they are describing.

Seeing as how the bike has only been around for a short time, I suggest you take a picture, edit it, select just the black denim and crank up the brightness. That may give you some idea - LOL.

The fading will probably be gradual and not as noticible unless you compare a part of the bike that has the paint covered by a seat or something. In a few months a lot of denim owners will have had their bikes for a year. Maybe one of them can do a paint check for us.

When you wash the black denim put a little clorox in on the gentle cycle. Don't use fabric softener or your tank and fenders will pick up scratches too easily.

Is the black denim paint supposed to fade in color or just wear off the high spots?
