Default Street Bob Wheels

I'm looking for anyone who may have changed out their stock 06' Street Bob wheels. I want an extra set to powdercoat in Red to go along with some white walls. So, if you happened to have a set, I'd be interested. I know I can get a set through HD, but I'd rather save a few $$$$.

Have you found a wide whitewall for the 17" rear wheel?

I'm not positive but I think I saw some on ebay yesterday that came off a street bob? Hope to see some pics of it after you get done.

No luck on the rear white wall yet, but someone I spoke with earlier today told me that I should check with Exile because they can get white walls made in odd sizes. It's worth a try. However, I'm considering some white wall paint if all else fails. I'm not sure how durable it is, so if anyone out there has ever tried it and can provide some feedback, I'd appreciate it.

I'll post a shot of my bike in a while, but I have to warn you...It looks like a Denim Black Street Bob. But, that's part of the reason why I'm looking to give it the Ol' School look to set it apart from the rest of them. And, I want to be be the first on my block to do it.

Thanks to all...

Here it is...I don't know how well you can see it, but I hit the air cleaner cover with a scotch-brite pad to give it a brushed look. This is temorary until my paint matched cover gets here. Harley is slower than a motherfuc*er when it comes to painted parts. I'm at 9 weeks and counting...Other than that, I went with the crinkle derby cover, and horn cover and red sreamin' eagle plug wires. Also, I just added the head covers to fill in the open area around the plugs.

Wouldn't it be far easier to just get a used 16" rear wheel and use an off-the-shelf tire? That way, you won't be dependent on a custom tire order every time you need one. Could easily happen that the next time you need a tire, it won't be available. Then you're stuck with a red powdercoated 17" rear wheel and the money you spent to get it that way. It will probably be cheaper too, no telling what a custom order tire will cost.

Default Street Bob Whitewalls

I checked on White Walls with Coker and they do have some. They are no radials however.
