Default Are there slip-on pipes that are slightly louder than stock?

I've already decided that my stock pipes are a bit anemic. But I absolutely don't want loud pipes. Are there slip-ons that raise the volume a bit? How about the SEII slip-ons?

I would say the SEIIs are a bit more than 'slightly' louder than stock. Mine set off car alarms. Just about right.

SEII tapered ones may be the ones you're looking for, and they look exactly like the stock ones.

The baloney cut or slash down ones are much louder.

Better hurry--the SE II's are to be discontinued June 1.

Screaming Eagle II slash downs are a good bit louder than stock. I have them on my bob.

I have a set made by Khrome Werks that sound really sweet. It's a deep, powerfull sound that everyone seems to like. It's not too loud, but noticeable when you want it to be! They don't sound brassy like some. Some guys just like it loud...doesn't matter whether it sounds good or not.

I bought these for my brother. He has a couple different styles to check out.
HD slip ons

It was about $50 with shipping. I'll let you know how they sound as soon as I get time to install them. The baffles are tack welded in, but look easy enough to grind out if you want to remove or replace them.

If you go with slip-ons, you had better do the stage I and download as well.

I put mine on with no downloads, etc. The bike runs fine.

I don't really think it's required when only doing slip-ons. The exhaust doesn't have as much effect on the system as the intake. Changes on the intake side (Air cleaners) require mixture adjustments because you are bringing in more air.
