I read the description but I'm still not sure....will the 29773-02C Screamin Eagle Stage I Air Cleaner Kit work with the stock air cleaner cover? It says '04-'07 EFI DynaŽ and models with accessory Air Cleaner Covers. I don't know what the "accessory air cleaner cover" is that they are talking about.

 

They are probably talking any accessory type cover that would fit on the stock system. I've got the Stg.1, and still use the stock cover.

 

it will work fine,you'll just lose the black plastic piece behind your stock cover.

I have the SE stage 1 air cleaner and when the notion hits me, I do slap the football back on without a problem. I usually run it open without any problems other than having to clean and re-oil it more often. Lots of dust and sand where I live.

 

It works fine... but i did notice that when I use an open air cleaner cover like the "luckydog" one, it feels like it pulls a little better

bike runs a bit rich due to cam swap, and i think the added air helps things out a bit

.....still need to fine tune the thing, though

 

As others have said, it will accept the stock "football" style covers. I'm not sure if it accepts the 08 style covers or if you have to get a different part number to pair with those. Going by your sig pic, you have the football so no problem. If you want to run it open, though, you can, and the a/c cover inserts HD sells fit perfectly on them by themselves. I've got a big sucker kit, which also accepts the stock football but I've run mine open ever since I got it.

 

i have the big sucker on mine, i took the willie g inset that i had and reused it on the big sucker, It wont cover the compleate outside of the cover and leaves about alittle over a 1/8" of the black showing but it will work till i can find something that works better.
