Default Torx Bit Question

I'm looking to add some torx bits to my tool set but do not want to buy a hole set as they are expensive for good ones. Does anyone know what sizes I need to work on my 03 dyna?

SAE vs Metric or both?

Help

thanks.

Sears has a inexpensive brand now that isn't too shabby.
Rack of the standard sizes run about 10 bucks.
The ones that you need for many of the little things would be T25 and T27.
The latter is the one size that normally does not come in a standard set though.
I found a set made by Isle that is old at Sears that includes this size.

Default stock up on T27

As a guy who started out with a basic mechanic's tool set and the service manual on my 08 FXD; unless you want to break out your dremel or tap and die set, get the best T25 and T27 bits you can.

http://www.shopperschoice.com/item_n...source=froogle Whole set for 47 bucks shipped. I never ordered from them though so can't speak of there store. OTC is tops in my opinion.

http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-27200.html here is a lisle 12 piece set for 23 dollars. Lisle is pretty good stuff.

You get one of them you are pretty set unless you need a T70 or some oddball T size. Also these are not tamper proof torx, I don't recall seeing any tamper proof torx on my 06 WG but there may be some. Tamper Proofs work for regular Torx.

http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/LIS-26530.html Lisle tamper set with larger regular torx for 20 bucks. Probably the least expensive best coverage option. I have ordered from these guys and I am pleased with there ship times.

http://www.thetoolwarehouse.net/shop/OTC-6145.html OTC tamper proof set. Doesn't have the larger Torx sizes though.

Thanks, I'm ordering the third one right now. Was going to go to sears but I'd rather get a whole set if I can get them at an affordable price.

That's a good idea, I'm not a huge torx fan myself.
