Pure genius right there. Better patent that before one of the aftermarket companies copies your work!

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Yeah Haircut when I started cutting wires and stuff I was thinking WTF am I doing, but a lot of others have cut fenders and struts which REALLY takes some *****.

Priest, the wires you see are the ones for the speedo. I just didn't hook it up in for the photo and didn't put the bottom plate onto the speedo cup yet. The other wires are the switch harnesses coming out of the t-bars.

Any clearance issues with the wiring for the indicators in the console? I had mine apart once measuring, but I just didn't think there was enough room to cram it in.

I ended up buying a sporty custom custom riser. I'm about 1/2 done. Will post pictures later.

Not sure what year your bike is but in the 08 the idiot lights are led's and not bulbs like other years so there is less wiring. I did have to cut the plastic box that holds the lights at the front to so the wires would come out towards the front left instead of the bottom for clearance.

I would imagine you could just get rid of that whole box or bezel and hook up single led's like JRK and some other guys did with their Lowriders.

JerseyDevil - I know this is an old thread, but I hope you still get this. I like what you've done a lot. My concern is matching and connecting the cycle performance mount to the speedo gauge bracket. Do you have a part number for the cycle performance mount? Did that fit cleanly along the outside of the speedo bracket or did you have to modify the cycle performance mount to get a clean seam between the two? What was the measurement of the cycle performance mount large hole? Thank you.

Default That is a nice mount!

That is a great mount! I want to get rid of the gauges on the tank of the Fat Boy I am planning to buy, and I want to keep that lean, low look. I want to use the Street Slammer bars and do something similar to that. Is there any updated into on this? One problem I can see is getting all the stuff to work.
