Default Tell Me I Did The Right Thing w My Pipes!

New here. I am getting an 09 SB and had some V&H shortshots staggered in black installed. The dealer told me I would have a better sound without the baffles, so that's what I went with. Hope I am not giving up sound or too much performance. Thanks, Brent-

Default Shortshots

That will definitely work though i got tired of the noise on long rides and ordered baffles. i still get pretty good sound without the headache and i get a little better low end torque. try them a while - you can always order baffles and they're a piece of cake to install.

Those will be plenty loud with the baffles in. I would tell the dealer to leave the baffles in.

You're going to have more sound, I would not necessarily call it 'better sound'. You'll get tired of the headaches on longer rides and eventually want baffles of some kind back in them. Plus you will loose a seat-of-the-pants-noticable amount of torque, with no baffles.

You sure the dealers first name isn't SAL and his last name AMI = SALAMI

+3 and 4 (My wife is sitting here also...)
Better go with the std baffles or QB, you will get allot better torque and low end performance and save your eardrums in the process
