Default BRIGHT headlight Who????

I was driving to lunch one day at work and these two bikes had these headlights that were so bright,i have Never ever seen even an offroad light this bright! (and i have seen some bright ones) What are they? They were so bright i didnt know what it was a 1/2 mile away and i knew it wasnt a car/truck/or a bike, but it was. Thought maybe a ufo or some kind of crazy welding that i have never seen! Im not kidding these were sick! And i was sober when this event had taken place too!

They were most likely HID headlights(not just a replacement bulb). I have one in my street glide and will be getting one for my bob soon. They are so bright that if I am behind somebody on the freeway, they usually just move out of my lane so they dont have to see it in their mirrors. Very visible!

Hey Joe would you have a part # for the SS. My stock light is about as bright as a candle.

Anyone have the part number for a Fat Bob for Sylvania Silverstar. I would love to brighten up my headlights.

If you have just the single headlight, it's a good bet that it uses the 9003 also. Best way to check is pull the bulb from your headlight and look for numbers around the base area.

Just pull the bulb and take it into the autoparts store. I just got back from buying one, but I have the h4s Don't know what the fat bobs have.

I got the PIAA Super White Bulb. WORKS GREAT!!!!!! Well worth the investment. It's a little more expensive since it designed for a motorcycle and the vibration it endures. The element is much thicker.

Be sure NOT to touch the bulb when installing. It has a bluish tint to the beam. But it will LIGHT THE ROAD.

Others are using the Silverstar H4. It's $20 cheaper.
