These PIAA lights say they are designed for bikes….. do our Harleys all take a standard H4 bulb?
If anyone can tell me that this one fits my bike I might order one: http://www.shopatron.com/product/pro...PIA70456/353.0

I have the PIAA H4 Extreme White Bulb and love it... Have any of you guys used the PIAA H4 Super Plasma??? I am looking for the blue tint that all the high end cars have, Also, why are the H4 Extreme white bulbs 60W high beam/55W low beam and the H4 Super Plasma 55W high beam/ 110W low beam?? Seems like the low beam would always be less... Just curious??

I had the $40 dollar piaa h4 designed for motorcycles,it lasted 3 months.Replaced it with a $20 silverstar which is just as good and is still working after a year. Some people are using the wrong silverstar h4 which is intended for cars. The correct one for motorcyles is the H4ST, 55/60 watt. Best price I've found so far was on amazon.

Consumer Reports tested all the major manufactures of high perf bulbs,jan2004 or 2005.They used a light meter and found the bulbs basically about equal. The bluish tint gives the perception of a brighter light, but it isn't. The best light i've seen is a 65/70 osram wired through a relay using 12 ga. wire (in a 5 3/4 " headlight.
