I got tired of seein the new age flames. I'm a fan of what you did though, really diggin the traditional hot rod color to it. Looks tuff!

Yeah man, great flame job. You had me nervous when you started to down talk it, but I like it.

thanks a lot everyone ...here is a shot of the fender, the gold/yellow metalic is more prevalant in the sun than it looks here under the flourescent lights

Kinda mixing flame styles, IMHO. Looked sweet when it was just gold/yellow tipped green flames, without the pinstripe. Red pinstripe on solid green - no tips - would be smokin'.
yup , there are so many ways to do it ...When I ran the original tape for the flames I wasnt real concerned about perfect edges Because I planned on a pinstripe. After I saw what the green looked by itself, I wished I had made finished edges, I may have just left it that way ......But I was committed to this style so I went with it .... |
Still looks like excellent work, though. ;)

I'm usually not a fan of flames, but that is some great looking flames you got going on. Good job. I like the red pin stripe by the way.

I like the green, it would look good on my bike. Of course the color choice for mine changes damn near every time I look at a bike.

Did you say this was your first time painting something like this? Very well done, it looks great!
