I am glad you posted this...true, its a little expensive, but you never know what will "float the boat." And we all know how expensive HD can be. My question is, how would these look leaving the chrome heat shields on...Beetlejuice style!!!

I already powdercoated my shields black and was going to get the SE chrome mufflers with the black tips to finish them off. Now I got to decide if I want to go with the black SE mufflers with chrome tips instead! Decisions, decisions!

What a pity it is the muted screamin eagle exhaust and not the more ballsy SEII style design.

Blast your stock ones and paint them. Way cheaper.

I happen to think the "muted" SE is a great sounding muff for my Fat Bob, so I'm not disappointed there. And I really like the looks and dare I say it I'm happy with the performance of the stock system, so not wanting a 2 into 1 aftermarket exhaust.

I'm not in the market for black heat shields and mufflers, but as jake says: it's nice to see these offered, you never know what floats a boat. I'm all for floating boats. I'd like to scan the horizon and see nothing bout boats floating!

It looks nice but I think dyna mo's exhaust suits the bike better.
