Default New Bling - Compliments of JRK5892

As some of you have seen, I swapped my tins for a HD paint set.

I was originally going to do have the battery and electrical covers powdercoated by JRK5892.

He said that he thought he could polish these up to look like chrome and was willing to do it even though it was more work for him.

I told him that I trusted his judgement and if he wanted to do it...go at it!

It cost me less money than buying one of the covers in chrome and looks great.

If you need any powder shot or some polishing done, hit up one of our HD Forum brothers first...thanks Joe!

Couple quick pics to see how nice they look!

Thanks guys.

Joe also told me that if I were unsatisfied in any way that he would pay for shipping and redo them...where you gonna find a guarantee like that?

That's what's great about this forum...brothers helping out brothers!

I'd like to also say that devils haircut sent me a pair of ISO grips for FREE...and they are sweet. Big thanks to him!

I've given things away too and it's a good feeling to help someone out and makes me feel good to know that there are still some decent people out there!

very very nice......what was used for polish? Took down to about 1000 grit paper and Mothers polish or something? I might want to give that a try myself.

Are the sidecovers steel? If so, did he clear coat them after polishing so they won't rust?
