I'm not sure why you want to buy a whole kit. If your just going to re-jet your scoot I would only go out and purchase the jets needed, and get the job done. I've never used a kit in the past, so I can't help you with your specific question.
48 slow speed jet ( 46 is plenty but you have to get it at a metric bike shop as H-D only stocks 42, 45, 48 etc.) turn out AF screw 2 1/2 turns (good starting point and usually good enough) and either a '88 sportster needle or shim the stock one with .050" of brass washers and you should have a very nice running stage 1 for next to no money. You'll also get way better gas mileage than with the dyna jet kit that most dealerships will try to sell you. Plus its fun working on them and you can amaze your friends at your CV carb expertise by fixing there carbs. Its a pretty simple carb to re-jet for stage 1.
