I know I sure did? And well, considering we get this sort of weather once or twice a year, I don't have any clothes to protect me against it.. so it was interesting.....

Today's weather when I left for work: 35 degree's, but feels like 29!!!!

Oh yeah, and I'm in south Florida too!!

Anyone else ride in this weather down here? i've gotta admit, its BEAUTIFUL!!

Cheers,
Adrian

I rode home from work last night and I think it was 23 degrees. I have wised up and started layering up the cold weather gear...but I ride home every night at 1 a.m. It is a brisk feeling that helps clear the stresses of the days work before I get home.

I live in Northwest Florida. It gets cold here believe it or not. We had temps in the low 20's on several occasions since Christmas. It sucks. I won't ride when it's less than 40, especially when the wind is blowing in hard. That might sound like a sissy to you, but oh well.

I've never ridden a snowmobile, but I am sure it would be fun. How fast can you go?

i hit 115 on the trail, on my RX-1, and 122 on the lake... had room to run but i hit some slush and got off the river before i got in more trouble than i could handle... our new Vector is just INSANE... has more torque than any sled i have ever rode... i was clipping at around 100 though this strait away section, and my girl BLEW past me on her's... INSANE...
most of our sleds will top out well over 100, all except the Indy trail touring... (that is my favorite sled to ride... had full wind protection, back rest, just comfortable...)
but after this trip on the RX-1 and the Vector... we are selling the Indy trail and 700 classic we have... we do not need 4 sleds... 2 is plenty! we head back to michigan next weekend... going to Crivits this time... if you like to ride a bike you will love snowmobiling just as much... i have been on a sled since i ws born, dad hooked up our car seats to the back of his sleds when we where young... hell even my mom RIPS her sled to death... just a good time brother!
it is very rare to be able to wrap a sled up that fast on the trail but we had the BEST conditions i have ever seen in my lift!!! for real look at this trail!!!

Don't know about Floridians but I'm heading out now. 43°, sunshine, clear skies and heading for high of 48°. More tomorrow with a projected high of 51° and then it tanks for a week or so.
