Default I just 'stole" a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide...

Hi everyone,
I just stole a black 2003 Dyna Wide Glide. It has a dyno tuned 42mm carb and D&D Boarzilla 2 into 1, a fork brace and some chrome.

I need to clean it up (it looks kinda beat, spokes corroded etc).

It needs a new battery, I hear get one from the dealer. Anyone have any instructions on how to replace?

It has 2700 miles and i want to get a new seat (lower and smoother looking) and new handlebars to start. Then change out some of the chrome and get the look I want.

Terry

Good idea to pull the maxi fuse on the fuse box before you R&R the battery. Put the pos cable on first.

Who the hell would want a wide glide???

I can't believe no one else said this - but while you are at the dealer getting a battery, pick up a service manual. It's like 50 bucks but you'll get your monies worth.

Welcome to the club and get that damn camera out already...
