Just used my adapters the other night for the first time with my Sears "Yellow" jack. Put some real pressure on em' taking the rear shocks off. Glad it was cold as hell and that glue held. I wonder if it was dead of summer they would been soft and failed?

Man, I'm nervous as hell to use em again. Gonna look into 2x4's My jack is a brand new Xmas gift. Not planning on dumpin that and spending another $400.

My brother's jack has adjustable "V" pads that you can raise to make a Dyna sit level. I will be looking at building blocks that will slide on the jack and make it level with the tranny guard.

i use the larin jack,The black and chrome one never had a problem and the lift is high enough to change tires on electra glides. I do how ever tie the bike off to cieling bars with cargo straps just to prevent bummers.

I have a J&S jack and used the HD Dyna frame adapters (as shown here: https://www.harley-davidson.com/stor...ft-adapter-kit) for the first time today to do a 1K mile service on my 2016 Street Bob.

The adapters worked OK, but it seemed that no matter where I placed them on the frame rails, they would block access to one of the three drain plugs.

I could successfully lift the bike and get at two drain plugs (primary & oil), but I had to lower the bike, re-position the adapters, and raise the bike a second time in order to get at the transmission drain plug.

Can someone please tell me if it's possible to position the adapters so I'm able to access all three drain plugs in a single lift?

Thanks

I had one of them fail, the two pieces separated and the bike almost ended up in the ground.

Cleaned both parts with brake cleaner and dropped an entire bottle of loctite superglue on them, they won't come apart again in a loooooong time now

Apparently, I don't even need them when using my J&S jack.

Thanks
