Is this a "kit", plans, or are you just winging it? I've been looking for a fork bag that's big enough for the Wide's fork width...still looking. I hadn't really considered making my own but seeing your project, that might be the way to go for me. Any sources, links, advice would be appreciated.

When I bought my v-star in '99, I was appalled at the prices of leather bags for motorcycling (still am). So I decided to learn how to do it.. bought an advanced beginners kit from Tandy, made a couple of small things, and then launched into to it.
When I created my pattern, I used a CAD system to lay it out. I then transferred the pattern to tracing film.
I made a tank bib/pouch last weekend, and I figured this weekend was a fork bag
