Default I put a new seat on my Fat Bob

The weather warmed up enough for me to start my winter project on my Fat Bob. First up, a Mustang Tripper solo seat along with the passenger pillion.

The seat is quite a bit smaller width-wise than the OEM bucket, which suits me well. You can see in the pics how the shocks and even part of the fender are exposed, which are almost covered when stock seat is on. The Mustang's comfort is better for me because the seat is firmer and the support across the entire seat pan is uniform.

The passenger pillion is slightly wider than the passenger portion of the stock seat, but the padding is thicker & firmer all the way to the rear of the Mustang seat. The stock seat tapers to the rear, which made the OL a bit uncomfortable on the longer rides.

I like the look and initial feel of the seat. I won't be able to ride on it for a few months, unfortunately. What do you think?

I like the seat, though I've been more of a Corbin man on my bikes. What the hell is up with those handlebars and tall sissy bar, though?

Seat looks great... now you just need to remove that sticker from your battery cover.

What kind of cables and brake lines you got there?

Funny you mention the sticker - that was literally the first thing I saw when I put the seat on. It is coming off before the snow melts.

My cables are HD Diamondbacks

Removing the seat is simple - undo the bolt at the rear and it comes right off. Piece of cake.
