Grew up close to the UP. My parents house is about 1 mile from the UP border, but on the WI side. What part are you headin' to?

Cheboygan is just south of the bridge (15min. to bridge). I don't have a sled, but I get up there often on the dirt bike. There is a ton of good riding in that area and especially over the bridge in the U.P. Lots of my buddy's have sleds and ride the U.P. alot. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

You'll probably be ridin' through my stompin' grounds to get there (Wausau... highway 51). Least the temps should be above zero for trip. Have fun and stay outta the trees!

If the lake is frozen up by the Big Mac you can ride your sled over to Mackinaw Island, right now it's colder than a well digger's butt in Utah in the land of yoopers.

we rode up there for years we'd take a week long trip and ride from the sault st. marie hotel up to marquette to houghton up to copper harbor then out to the porcupine mt. area and back to the soo normally 4-5 days it took. you guys should get to the kewennaw peninsula that was always the best riding lots of snow great scenery too. marquette was always fun to party in after we got into town at night and was great riding. sounds like the snow conditions have been great this year so you guys should have a great time.
