Any chance to ride is a great chance.

I absolutely HATE riding when its windy.. on my way back from Leesburg, it was the windiest day I've ever ridden in. I was constantly getting pushed from the wind, and the bike felt like it was going to fall over. VERY uncomfortable feeling..

We have a saying here in S.D as the wind is constant.

"If you can't ride in the wind, You can't ride"

Although 50+ gets a little extreme, Unless its at your back.

I find it does get winding when I'm riding...90-100 mph. I sometimes just get into a tuck position on the cycle, somewhat like riding a sportbike and put my legs on the passenger pegs. Works for me.

I would trade some of this ice and snow for a little wind if it's warm. Seems like it's been winter for 6 months. One place the wind does really bother me is going across New River Gourge Bridge, your about a mile up in the air and a good breeze will give you a pucker factor of about 9.

We get a lot of wind in Oklahoma….I dread to see the forecast of a nice sunny day coming up and windy in the forecast with it. The Street Bob seems to make it a more fair fight with the wind than I felt like I had with the Nightster. That Nightster would get blown all over the road pretty easily. Just riding at highway speed seemed like a challenge sometimes in fairly decent weather.

ha ha ha sorry brother, i have modernized... I made my own stereo... it uses a 150 watt amp and 2 full range speakers, hardlines into the bike and is all quick release... i can hear it clear as day till i hit about 95-100 (into the wind) then i start to loose it, it all works off an i pod... it rocks! and it is the cleanest set up out there!

and with the GPS hookeed up as well
