I know they aren't the same, but the 07 and later FXDCs are very similar, just no special edition badges or trim. Same sheet metal and gauge set-up. Saves a lot of money.

jmpancoast, bike looks awesome. did you consider a laydown or sidemount plate? the rear fender looks real clean with those lights.

I had one from Nov 05 until Aug 08 and it was, without doubt, one of the best bikes I've had in 30 years of biking.I only sold it because I'd done a couple of riding courses at H-D Riders Edge in Wales and after trying Baggers I decided I had to have a 'Glide.
I'd fitted a H-D Sidekick seat, highway pegs,a Q/D detachable screen,Stage 1,S/E mufflers but the best mods of all were Progressive Suspension fork springs and shocks (IAS 440's)
I was so sad to see her go,but I suppose I could say that about 'em all.
64 BSA
66 T 120 BONNIE
Hondas,Kawas,Suzis
00 XL1200S
02 FXDL
04 FLSTSCI
06 FXD35
07 FLHT
I'd recommend a '35 to anyone.

Thanks for the comments. I have a HD laydown on it now. I like the angle as it matches the angle of the laydown taillight.

I bought my 35th anniversary new back in 06 at msrp. Every other dealer wanted thousands over msrp at that time. I love my bike! It's a keeper. I keep accessorizing it as I go. I'll have to see what pictures I've got

Thanks for your replies fellas. I am of two minds. I really like the dynas for the real two wheeled hotrod-ability (if you could call it such a thing). I guess I really got sucked in by the 35...I still have some HD marketing guff that fell out of a Heavy Duty Magazine. Dpriest and jmpancoast- Really dig your rides...very cool!
