11 inch shocks on a bob

RE: 11 inch shocks on a bob
Yes, it does make the fender look a bit closer. Switching out the rear fender makes a huge difference on how low the rear looks as well. We left just enough room for the shocks to bottom out without hitting the fender. Plus the stock fender has a much more bubbled shape to it. When I'm sitting on it the wheel is actually about 3/4" up inside the fender...pretty slick looking. As far as the seat I haven't put any miles on it. It is only as narrow as the frame so it requires a narrow ***. I don't think it will be too bad but you definately know you aren't on the stock seat though. I'll post again once I get some miles on it.
We got the back wheel and polished rotor on...bolted right up and looks way mean. The rocker covers and rear pulley are going to powdercoat today and the dash, rear fender, and a few other pieces should be going to the pinstriper today too. So if all goes well and my new wheel gets here next week it should be all back together by Friday.
That blue spoke setup is slick! That would be unique for sure...I like it.

RE: 11 inch shocks on a bob
Looking for shocks for my bike I noticed you guys went with either 11 or 11.5. BASIC, what made you go 11? and also did you order it for the 06 BOB (My tech said he could not find a part # for the BOB and was thinking that maybe he had to order one just for a generic Dyna) Anyone know the part # for the 06 Street bob 11 or 11.5 progressives (Black shock)? Thanks.
