Default rear brake light removal?

I was thinking of getting rid of the rear brake light and lic plate and getting a vertical lic plate/brake light down on the side off the swing arm. When I removed the rear fender I noticed that both turn signals connect into the brake light. How can I remove the brake light and still be able to use the turn signals? Is it possable? My plan was to fill both holes for a smoother look. Any info would help.

Thanks
Jason

Do a search...plenty of people have done this mod. Unfortunately for you, I'm not one of them. PM Venturachop, he has done the mod and filled in the holes. His bike looks great!

taillight has a circuit board which is basically a junction for the rear wiring harness. all you need to do is remove it and snake the individual wire to the new locations.pretty easy.
